Have you heard about undetectable injectables?

Botox and hyaluronic acid (HA) injections are frequently combined because they address different aspects of facial aging and can work synergistically to create a more balanced, more natural-looking result.

In most cases, using both treatments gives a refreshed look where the injectables are undetectable! Meaning the person looks rested, refreshed and glowing rather than looking like they had work done.

Botox and other neuromodulators work by relaxing targeted facial muscles. This helps soften dynamic lines caused by repeated facial expressions, including forehead lines, frown lines, crow’s feet, and platysmal bands on the jawline. Results typically last about three to four months.

Hyaluronic acid injections, including Juvéderm, Restylane, and Revanesse, serve a different purpose. HA is a substance naturally found in the body that attracts and holds water, providing volume, hydration and structural support.

Fillers are commonly used to restore volume lost with aging in areas such as the cheeks, temples, lips and around the mouth. Depending on the product used and the area treated, results can last from six to 24 months.

When used together, neuromodulators and HA injections provide a more comprehensive approach to facial rejuvenation. Botox smooths expression-related lines on the surface of the skin, while filler enhances facial proportions and improves the appearance of volume loss beneath the surface—results that Botox alone cannot achieve.

An added benefit of combining these treatments is that relaxing certain muscles with a neuromodulator may help reduce repetitive movement, potentially extending the longevity of HA.

Both treatments are minimally invasive and well tolerated. Common side effects include temporary redness, swelling, or bruising at the injection sites, which typically resolve within several days to two weeks.

You can receive Botox and filler during the same appointment. In some cases, however, it may be beneficial to perform filler treatment two weeks after the Botox.

I tailor every treatment plan to your facial anatomy and aesthetic goals. If you’re considering starting 2026 with some aesthetic goals, book a consultation so we can create a customized approach for long-lasting facial rejuvenation.
